Orange County Family Portraits |Tim, Liz, and Joe

A lot of bloggers post about their own families, so I guess it’s my turn!  For Mother’s Day this year, we decided to do a nice family portrait for my Mother in Law.  Here is the image we made into a large canvas print and it was a huge hit!

Day Trippin with the [b] School | Streets of Los Angeles

For 4 years of my life, I worked in downtown Los Angeles.  From the fashion district to China town, I’ve walked the streets many many times.  This trip to LA with the [b] School was special to me because we went to places I’ve never been to before.  Since moving to the OC, I don’t visit LA as much as I would like to.  Mostly because I can’t stand the traffic!

On Tuesday, a few of us took the train from Irvine to Union Station- a first for me!  We met up with the rest of the gang in Los Angeles and roamed around for a few hours.  Here are a few of my favorite shots from the day…enjoy!

Balboa Park | San Diego Portraits | Nicole

On Mother’s Day, my friend Hanssie Trainor invited me to San Diego for an engagement session with her clients.  While we were there, I couldn’t pass up an opportunity to photograph my friend Nicole at Balboa Park.  Nicole and I met when we went on a tour through Europe 6 years ago and I’m so glad we still keep in touch!  She was 16 when I first met her so I always refer to her as a little girl.  Obviously, she’s gown into a very successful and charming young lady.

Sydney | Los Angeles Children Portraits

Now…at shooting guard, wearing number 34, out of the University of North Carolina, weighing in at 7lbs 8oz, at 7ft, 20″…Sydney Anne “Syd”.  That was the  announcement from Syd’s proud Dad when she was born on April 24th.  Following tradition, I photographed Syd at 7 days old like I did with her older brother Ben.  The resemblance between Ben and Syd is amazing, they look practically like twins!

Today is also the perfect day for this post because it is the new Mom’s birthday!  Happy birthday Andrea!

Here is the beautiful family (minus 1 dog).  Don’t they look great for having 2 kids under 2 and 2 dogs?

I wanted to share a photo of big brother Ben at 7 days old to show you the resemblance.  They grow up too fast!
