Alice Hu Photography Weddings + Portraits
It’s a special Monday blog! On Saturday afternoon, I got to hang out with a bunch of super fun and talented photographers at Irvine Regional Park. There were so many stunning models at the shoot, but Mackenzie was my girl. She is Hanssie’s adorable daughter and like mother like daughter, she was dressed in style. Here are a few of my favorite shots.
Everyone, meet Princess Victoria. She is 2.5 years old and loves high heels, her fuzzy crown, dogs, and yogurt. She may look familiar to a few people and that is because this is her 3rd appearance on my blog. I’ve been photographing Victoria since she was a few months old and can’t believe what a little lady she is becoming. Tim and I were lucky enough to photograph her parent’s destination wedding in Puerto Vallarta a few years back and we can’t wait to shoot their 5 anniversary photos next year. Also if you look up on the banner, the couple in front of the pink wall is Victoria’s Mom and Dad. Here are a few of my favorites.
The conclusion of my photo shoot with Circle Ten Events has finally arrive. Part of what makes my job fun is meeting amazing people. Therese and her husband Dee are not just adorable, but I think they can be comedians on the side. Usually I have to make up anything to make people laugh, but I think I need to bring Therese with me on all my shoots from now on. Thanks guys for making this so fun!
This is not just any wedding gown. It was Therese’s mom’s gown taken apart and rebuilt for her special day. I’m glad she wore it again for the photo.

Jamie and Dan was the contest winner for the “Real Bride Wedding” photo shoot Debbie from Circle Ten Events hosted on her blog. Jamie and Dan are naturals in front of the camera and so much fun to photograph! Here are a few of my favorite shots we got from the day.

There is a new venue in town! The beautiful PRES Gardens in Newport Beach opened their brand new special events facility to us for this amazing photo shoot. The talented Debbie from Circle Ten Events described the theme of the shoot as “Paris in the 1920’s Art Nouveau. Very Maxfield Parrish with soft dreamy colors, dripping flowers and delicate gold leaf. Flowy and romantic.” Here are a few highlights:
