Tim and I had a few days on Maui after Midori and Kenny’s amazing Haiku Mill wedding. We went to Upcountry Maui to a little town called Makawao for a little sight seeing and shopping. Totally by chance, Beth was working in a cute little boutique on Baldwin Ave and just happen to mention her recent engagement. I debated for all of 2 seconds before I asked her about doing an engagement session. Without hesitation, she said yes! I told her I only had one request and it was to not shoot at the beach. As beautiful as Maui beaches are, I wanted something different.
We started the engagement session at Oskie Rice Rodeo Arena off of Olinda Road then made our way into the sugar cane fields. I seriously can shoot all day with the beautiful Maui sun. Here are just some of my favorites.
