While on Maui, my own wedding planner Evonne of Events by Evonne set up an amazing photoshoot at Hotel Wailea. The theme was Hollywood Glamour with a Hawaiian twist. Evonne’s clients Amie and Cameron were gracious enough to model for this super chic shoot. Here are just a few of my favorite images.

Grand Wailea Resort Hotel and Spa Wedding Photographer | Maui Wedding

On the last day of our Maui trip, we stopped by the Grand Wailea Resort. So glad we did because we saw Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler film their new movie! While we walked around the resort, we stopped by the cute little chapel where weddings are held. The property is so beautiful, hopefully some day we get to photograph a wedding there!

Ever since Tim and I were married on Maui 3 years ago, it’s been a dream for us to go back. Since Serena and I had a wedding to photograph together, we got to bring our husbands with us to Maui.

We took a quick trip to the Seawatch Restaurant now known as Gannon’s Wailea to reminisce about our wedding day.

Some advice for anyone thinking about a destination wedding…do it! We had the most amazing wedding surrounded by only close family and friends. It was totally stress free and the scenery was magical. Having an amazing wedding also helped. Evonne took care of everything, all I had to do was show up

Also a quick shout out to Dan Sanchez and Jessica Waite who did my hair and makeup on Maui. It was so nice to work with them again on this trip. Wait until you see that blog post!

This post is extra special to me because Julia and I go way back. How far back you ask? I would say almost 15 years. She is pretty much like a sister to me. We’ve survived high school, college, boy friends, and just about everything else in between together since we were 15. There was no way I was going to miss Julia and Dave’s big day and don’t remember the last time Tim and I had so much fun at a wedding as a guest!

Everyone, meet Princess Victoria. She is 2.5 years old and loves high heels, her fuzzy crown, dogs, and yogurt. She may look familiar to a few people and that is because this is her 3rd appearance on my blog. I’ve been photographing Victoria since she was a few months old and can’t believe what a little lady she is becoming. Tim and I were lucky enough to photograph her parent’s destination wedding in Puerto Vallarta a few years back and we can’t wait to shoot their 5 anniversary photos next year. Also if you look up on the banner, the couple in front of the pink wall is Victoria’s Mom and Dad. Here are a few of my favorites.

The conclusion of my photo shoot with Circle Ten Events has finally arrive. Part of what makes my job fun is meeting amazing people. Therese and her husband Dee are not just adorable, but I think they can be comedians on the side. Usually I have to make up anything to make people laugh, but I think I need to bring Therese with me on all my shoots from now on. Thanks guys for making this so fun!

This is not just any wedding gown. It was Therese’s mom’s gown taken apart and rebuilt for her special day. I’m glad she wore it again for the photo.

There is a new venue in town! The beautiful PRES Gardens in Newport Beach opened their brand new special events facility to us for this amazing photo shoot. The talented Debbie from Circle Ten Events described the theme of the shoot as “Paris in the 1920′s Art Nouveau. Very Maxfield Parrish with soft dreamy colors, dripping flowers and delicate gold leaf. Flowy and romantic.” Here are a few highlights:
