This post is extra special to me because Julia and I go way back. How far back you ask? I would say almost 15 years. She is pretty much like a sister to me. We’ve survived high school, college, boy friends, and just about everything else in between together since we were 15. There was no way I was going to miss Julia and Dave’s big day and don’t remember the last time Tim and I had so much fun at a wedding as a guest!

Laguna Beach Trash the Dress | Encore Session | Caroline + Mike |

It was a hot and humid Sunday as I pulled up to an empty parking lot to met up with Caroline and Mike. Caroline looked extra beautiful thanks to Lisa from Makeup by Lisa P. After we gathered all the accessories, equipment, and water, we took a little hike up the hills of Irvine. Yes, I said a little hike, but it felt more like a 10 mile hike in the heat. Thanks Caroline and Mike for braving the weather, bugs, and dirt with us!

Laguna Beach Engagement | Michelle + Victor

Now on to the real post with Michelle and Victor’s engagement pictures! Many of you know, Michelle is the owner and mastermind behind Mele Amore Event Planning + Design and my amazing model at the Muzeo photo shoot. Victor is just as famous if not more (so he claims). Somewhere out there is a music video with Victor in it. If you know where I can find a copy of this…email me!

Michelle, Victor, Tim and I started thist session in Irvine and slowly made our way down to Laguna Beach. We never made it to the actual beach because found so many fun locations around PCH. As you can see in these images, these two are not camera shy. We had a blast photographing you two and can’t wait for your wedding!

Me: Guys- give me 10 seconds of funny faces. Victor, you gave me 8 seconds of the same face!

Villa Rockledge | Orange County Wedding Photographer

A few weeks ago, I had the honor of photographing at the historic Villa Rockledge. The Villa was built by Frank Miller and Arthur Benton, same team of builder and artist responsible for the Mission Inn in Riverside. Needless to say, the property far exceeded my expectations. It was so breathtakingly beautiful that I didn’t know where I wanted to start!

While I was walking around the venue, Jessi got her hair and makeup done by the fabulous Jamie Michele and Rochelle Rogers

All the beautiful gowns were by Debbie Chang Bridal. Cool fact about Debbie- she used to design for Barbie!

These amazing floral arrangements were provided by the fabulous Amanda Heer at Fantasy Floral Designs

Downtown Orange Engagement | Ariana + Vince

Who says long distance relationships don’t work? Ariana and Vince are proof that it does! I met up with these two at Downtown Orange for their engagement shoot last weekend and we had a so much fun walking around finding cool places for pictures. They also brought along their new baby Cole and he was the most well behaved 6 months old I’ve ever seen. I’m saving his photos for another post because I think he deserves his own post. Here are a few fun shots of the love birds, aren’t they stunning?

It will be a fun one in Vegas when these two gets married!
